TANYUN Polymer Resin Co., Ltd. won the second prize of the Innovation Competition
In September 2020, the award ceremony of China Yingkou Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was grandly held in the Auditorium of the Management Committee of Yingkou High-tech Zone. Xu Guiqing, Mayor of Yingkou Municipal Government, attended and presented awards to the winning companies.
After a month of competition, TANYUN Polymer's "High Performance PVB R&D and Manufacturing" project won the second prize in 106 participating projects.
Yingkou TANYUN Polymer Resin Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of TANYUN Junrong (Liaoning) Chemical Research Institute New Material Incubator Co., Ltd. It has been committed to the research and development, production and sales of PVB resin powder. It is the only company in the industry that can customize PVB products according to customer requirements.
The company's main product is PVB resin powder, which is made of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and butyraldehyde as raw materials, catalyzed by hydrochloric acid and condensed by acetal reaction. The viscosity of PVB resin is an important technical indicator. The larger the molecular weight, the higher the viscosity.
At present, the company's PVB resin products can be divided into TB02 to TB20 according to specifications. The company's common specifications products are mainly used in paint, printing and dyeing, electronics, fuel, glue and other fields. In addition, the company also has customized products—high temperature resistant PVB resin for the production of copper clad laminates.
Another important application area of PVB resin is safety glass interlayer film. The film is a kind of polymer material film formed by PVB resin powder through plasticizer plasticization, extrusion and casting, also called PVB film. In the future, the company will develop into the application field of PVB membranes based on PVB resin.
TANYUN Polymer currently has 10 patents and 8 software copyrights. The honor is the recognition of its achievements. The company established production bases in Yingkou and Yichang, established R&D centers in Hangzhou, and established marketing centers and group headquarters in Shenzhen. With a total production capacity of 2,000 tons and sales of more than 1,000 tons, the products have penetrated into the entire application areas of PVB materials.
As of August, TANYUN Polymer has replaced the original market shares of three Japanese companies in five high-end equipment manufacturing fields, including inks, audio-visual equipment, and copper clad laminates.
