1.5 Character: Orange needle crystal. Its boiling point is 249℃, and sublimation has happened when reached to 100℃. Stable in the air. Strong ultraviolet radiation absorbent ability and heat stability.

3. Application: Ferrocene powder has been used as energy-saving antismoke agent, antiknock agent, radiation absorber, heat stabilizer, light stabilizer. It has been applied to synthesize ammonia catalyst and rubber curing agent. In addition, it was replaced of toxic antiknock agent to prepare high-grade unleaded gasoline.

Uses:1) Fuel additives. Ferrocene and its derivatives are antiknock agents used in the fuel for petrol engines. They are safer than previously used tetraethyllead.

2) Solid Rocket Propellant. Ferrocene and related derivatives are used as powerful burn rate catalysts in ammonium perchlorate composite propellant.
3) As a ligand scaffold. Chiral ferrocenyl phosphines are employed as ligands for transition-metal catalyzed reactions. Some of them have found industrial applications in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals.

4) Used as radiation absorber, heat stabilizer, light stabilizer and smoke inhibitor.

5) It can also be used to make ammonia synthesis catalyst and rubber curing agent.

4. Safety instructions: Low toxic. LD50(Rat)> 1320mg/kg; Mouse, oral: LD50> 832mg/kg.

5. Packing: Woven bag (lined with plastic bag), net weight: 25 kg/bag.

6. Storage: Sealed preservation. Store at cool and ventilate condition. Prohibit heating and sun exposure. The shelf life is 24 months after manufactured date. After the shelf life expires, the samples should be re-sampled and re-inspected according to the technical specifications in Part 2, and they can still be used after passing the test.

7. Transportation: Avoid violent collision and sun exposure. Do not mix-transport with strong oxidizers.
